First I want to thank Valerie and Brandon for letting me be apart of their special day, second I want to mention they both serve in the armed forces and are fighting for our country… Thank you for your courageous efforts to keep us safe!

Well the original plan was to have their wedding back in March but Brandon got called back to his base 3 days before the wedding. They were both upset but understandably they knew he had to return for his duty.  After several months of re-planning, rescheduling and re-everythinging their wedding day would finally come. They were able to stay connected and reschedule with most of their fabulous vendors including; Tom, owner and Trina, event manager with Fairy Tale Manor in Frisco TX, photography by Lauren and Shawn, with Fairy Tale Photography in Plano, TX and yours truly, the emcee, disc jockey, entertainment and lighting with Heavy G Productions.

So the stage is set and everyone is in place, guests arrive around 6:30.  Background music is playing and guests are enjoying some refreshments just before the start of the 7:15 ceremony.  The ceremony begins and goes smoothly, Valerie and Brandon are now official!

The reception begins, Valerie and Brandon are introduced to their friends and family and they go straight into their first dance.  Shortly after their dance dinner is served, since they previously decided not to share the traditional father/daughter or mother/son dance’s we went straight into a few slow dance songs to get the crowd moving and on their feet. Their choice of music for the evening included mostly classic sing along’s, oldies, top 40 and their favorite, country.  They also requested in our planning process that we take requests from their guests.

The evening went along well and everyone really enjoyed themselves. We eventually cut the cake and her sister, the Maid of Honor, and his father, the Bestman, shared two very special toasts. After that we continued with a great top 40/dance set right into the bouquet and garter toss.  I must say I had a great time with Valerie, Brandon and all of the guests.  May the best come to you and yours and thank you again for your service to our country.
